Nobody missed me
I've written before (courtesy of Seth Godin) about how you know you're doing great work and making an impact: if you stop, will anyone miss you?
It doesn't matter how many followers you have on social media. Nor how many email subscribers. Ditto for page views.
If you simply cease to exist are there people desperately getting in touch to coax you back into the game?
Well, I decided to put this to the test. With this being a daily blog, on the 7th October I didn't post. Do you know how many people got in contact with me? Zero.
Not even my mum, who I know reads this.
This only means one thing: there's much more room for improvement. I've come a long way, but there's so much further to go.
